a town, a small town,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and the people who live
in the town.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From a distance,
it presents itself<\/p>\n\n\n\n

like so many other small towns
all over the world\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Safe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Decent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Innocent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Get closer, though<\/strong>, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

and you start seeing
the shadows underneath<\/strong>. \/\u0e41\u0e1d\u0e07\u0e2d\u0e22\u0e39\u0e48\u0e20\u0e32\u0e22\u0e43\u0e15\u0e49 \/*<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The name of our town
is Riverdale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And our story begins, I guess,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

with what the Blossom twins
did this summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the Fourth of July,
just after dawn<\/strong>, \/n \u0e23\u0e38\u0e48\u0e07\u0e2d\u0e23\u0e38\u0e13 v begin*<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jason and Cheryl Blossom
drove out to Sweetwater River<\/p>\n\n\n\n

for an early morning
boat ride.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Are you scared, Jason?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The next thing we
know happened for sure<\/p>\n\n\n\n

is that Dilton Doiley,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

who was leading Riverdale’s
Boy Scout Troop<\/p>\n\n\n\n

on a bird watching expedition<\/em><\/strong>, *<\/p>\n\n\n\n

came upon<\/strong><\/em> Cheryl*
you meet them or find them by chance \/ attack

by the river’s edge<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jason\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Riverdale Police dragged
Sweetwater River
for<\/em> Jason’s body,*<\/p>\n\n\n\n

but never found it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If he is dead, Hal,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I hope in those last moments
he suffered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

May Jason Blossom
burn in hell<\/em>. \/ Expression of anger and contempt directed at someone, especially after that individual has done something very wrong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So a week later,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

the Blossom family buried
an empty casket<\/strong><\/em> \/casket, shell, coffin<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and Jason’s death
was ruled an acciden<\/em>t,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

as the story that Cheryl told
made the rounds<\/strong>. \/>*<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That Cheryl dropped
a glove in the water,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and Jason reached
down to get it,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and accidentally
tipped the boat,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and panicked, and drowned<\/strong>. \/\u0e08\u0e21\u0e19\u0e49\u0e33<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As for us,
we were still talking about
the “July Fourth tragedy”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

on the last day
of summer vacation,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
