5. Objectives

          1. Understand design of mechatronics system

2. Understand electrical signals, measurements and system behavior of mechatronics system

3. Understand sensors, actuators, and concept of embedded system

4. Understand system modeling, simulation and control

6. Course Description

Sensors transducers and measurement systems. Embedded systems. Development of embedded systems. Drives and actuators. Linear systems, rotational drives, motion converters. Mechanical systems and design. Case studies.

7. Project-based Learning

  • Lecturer give theory and concept review
  • Students find the examples of the system and discuss about it or question about some topics. Find the relationship about input, output of the system, components inside it.
  • Project-based Learning; find the mechatronics system that challenge in the design. Find information of each component in the system. Analysis about the system based on knowledge and using computer simulation.
