On Monday, Mar 15, 2021, Robotics and AI students doing the AI Project about AI activity tracking application in Robotics Lab 3 subject went to Sony Thailand factory. This project has been started since we sent the demonstration of human activity to them. Sony has been a good collaborator, they even assigned one of the senior engineers as a mentor for this project which is a good experience for students. Moreover, the students will receive the Work Experience Certificate from Sony.

We appreciate our RAI family determination. They dream, work for that and never giving up until achieving their dreams.Here we present our 4 teams inspired to join to Delta Cup 2021 organized by Delta Electronics Thailand. They have to compete with 28 teams from the top 7 universities in Thailandwe know that you will never give up. Good luck!!

Hand-on experience is one of the most importance skill for our students. Therefore IoT-automation sets of industrial automation class for 3rd year RAI were set up and ready for accessing by ONLINE, our students can practice anywhere anytime.

We are proud to present RAIBOX model 5 which has designed to fight Covid -19. This invention features an autonomous mobile robot capable of disinfecting all air-born viruses, germs through UV-C light. A close environment could be easily disinfected automatically using this robot.

This event of introducing the top 5 innovations took place in Thai Khu Fah Building – Thai government house on Feb 15, 2021, hosted by the NBT TV by the distinguished speakers P’Ae (Professor Suchatchavee Suwansawas) President of KMITL, Doctor Anawat, Associate Dean of School of Medicine, and Dr. Poom, Head of the Robotics and AI program.

Our Dean and RAI program are very pleased to welcome Tetsuo Watarai, General Manager, Manufacturing Engineering from Mitsubishi Electric to Robotics and AI Laboratories. We are planning an MOU to upgrade the skills of our students through training, mini-projects, and by cooperating in research and internships.Date: Feb 16, 2021

หุ่นยนต์ RAIBO-X เป็นหุ่นยนต์ที่พัฒนาต่อยอดจากหุ่นยนต์ AGV (Automatics Guide Vehicle) ชนิดใช้แผนที่ในการนำทาง เดิน และหลบสิ่งกีดขวางแบบอัตโนมัติ โดยต่อยอดใช้กับอุปกรณ์ฉายแสง UVC เพื่อใช้สำหรับการฆ่าเชื้อโรค เนื่องด้วยรังสี UVC ที่มีความอันตรายต่อการมองและสัมผัสโดยตรง ดังนั้นการวางแผนเส้นทางเดินของหุ่นยนต์เคลื่อนที่ได้แบบอัตโนมัติ AGV และระบบเปิด-ปิด UVCด้วย IOT จึงช่วยทำให้หุ่นยนต์ RAIBO-X สามารถดำเนินการฆ่าเชื้อโรคตามแผนทางเดินที่วางไว้ได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพและปลอดภัยต่อผู้ใช้งาน นอกจากนี้การควบคุมหุ่นยนต์ได้พัฒนาโดย นศ. และ นักวิจัยของหลักสูตรวิศวกรรมหุ่นยนต์และปัญญาประดิษฐ์ สจล. ผ่าน KRAI Platform ให้สามารถใช้งานได้ง่ายผ่านอุปกรณ์ mobile หรือ web browser ทำให้ User สามารถใช้งานได้ง่ายและสะดวกมากยิ่งขึ้น
