Gistda – Satellite DishIn 2015, collaborate with GISTDA in WATER project.
GISTDA worked with TGI in order to setup the Stewart platform to control the satellite dish’s orientation. The control objective is to tracking the satellite location by following the “mpp file”. However, the disk vibrates during some operating range. My colleague and I were invited to observe and give recommendation about vibration and control. The team also measured the vibration from the impulse test and from operation. Signal response was analyzed in frequency domain. We also proposed a research project to improve the performance of the system named “Feedback Control and Input Shaping for WATER Satellite Dish”.
